Characters
The Station - The only non-verbal character - It is the old International Space Station plus a great deal of newer additions - Inside it has hallways and rooms - many to be found/described later - The one major non functional portion of this station is the waste processing plant/system this causes a large amount of trash to be strewn around the station
Data Access Computer - We often hear this computer though the other characters and famous quotes with key words replaced - This computer hates its role and often refuses to work attempts by the nerdy person to fix it ~ (½/i? ~ >½)
The leader of Orbital - An introvert he is extremely quiet preferring to allow the normal functions of the station to be left to his second in command (character #1) He is a regular at commanding having lost his previous command to a rapid decompression accident -He lost his son and wife in this accident. depending on his mood. He was isolated as a child because of his desire to play with ~ ~ things instead of socializing. He is a procrastinator only doing what is absolutely
necessary - but he starts new projects very quickly. Parts of the station are often
inoperable or unusable due to the fact that he is always in the middle of repairing something - he does manage to keep his own domain livable although sometimes things break. He is an openly gay male but he wishes #2 was interested in him. He is constantly badgering #2 for more of a relationship.
Computer - Intelligent - slow dense - doesn't realize human emotions. This computer controls communications - another computer controls data access. Assembled from spare junk parts - He finds ways to continually complain about this - he Has access terminals all over the ship and to a temperamental data access computer
Character #1 Female - Primary Computer Operator - Born: Greenbay, WI her parents are cheese producers - she directly despises cheese - not because of the taste or smell but because of the stupid hats - you see before she moved to orbital she used to be a person who sold those stupid cheese hats at the Green Bay Packers games. She is a fighter - she wants what she wants and will get it in anyway possible - not just with the men (which would make her an intense feminist) but with everyone. She was routinely beaten up by
both guys and girls and all the way from her middle school years to her early college

Beginning of first episode:
(During the Narrator's monologue we see the events he describes)
Narrator: Orbital is a unique place - a conglomeration of misfits, disowned people and things. But it wasn't always that way. Orbital started out as the infamously delayed and over budget international space station.
