I assumed that since I was around a bunch of houses these were home networks.  There are an awful lot of the damn things!  Since I&#8217;ve got my new iBook 14&#8243; with 802.11g I&#8217;ve noted a lot more networks. (My old iBook only had 802.11b.)<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m sitting on the bus watching networks come an go as we drive by them, and I&#8217;m madly attempting to get online with one of them.  I&#8217;m thinking hell, this will be a crapshoot, I&#8217;m moving and most of the networks are secured somehow.  I&#8217;m stupid enough to think that I&#8217;ll get lucky on some random network while I&#8217;m rolling along at 20 mph.<\/p>\n<p>It worked.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So right now I&#8217;m riding the bus to school.
