  • The Cool Page for Queer Teens - a site answering many questions for teenagers comming out
  • My Child is GAY! Now What Do I Do? - a companion site to "The Cool Page for Queer Teens" for parents, answering many questions for parents of teenagers who are comming out
  • YOUTH.ORG: Online For Youth - a service run by volunteers, created to help self-identifying gay, lesbian, bisexual and questioning youth. Exists to provide young people with a safe space online to be themselves
  • YouthResource - created by and for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning young people 13 to 24 years old, taking a holistic approach to sexual health by offering support, community, resources, and peer-to-peer education about issues of concern to GLBTQ young people.

Transgender Resources

  • Gender Education and Advocacy - Gender.org - a national organization focused on the needs, issues and concerns of gender variant people in human society. Seeks to educate and advocate, not only for transgendered people, but for all human beings who suffer from gender-based oppression in all of its many forms.
  • Intersex Society of North America - devoted to systemic change to end shame, secrecy and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with atypical reproductive anatomies
  • Sphere - a listserv for people who bend even the boundaries of transgenderism: people who identify as both genders, or no gender, or third-gendered. Also provides FAQs, experience stories, and fun transgendered stuff
  • FTM International - the largest, longest-running educational organization serving FTM transgendered people and transsexual men. Providing resource information, legal information concerning gender, directories to stories, and transgendered history
  • Welcome To TransFamily Of Cleveland - a support group for transgendered and transsexual people, their parents, partners, children, other family members, friends, and supportive others. Provides referrals, literature, and over-the-phone information on all transgender issues
