Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, I graduated from Beavercreek High School and then attended Wright State University, earning my bachelors degree in Psychology and my masters degree in Student Personnel Services in Higher Education. While completing my internship in graduate school, I found my calling and I became an academic advisor at Wright State. I currently serve as the Director of the University College's office of Adult and Transfer Services.
