Lambda Union Policies
Confidentiality policy
In order to create a mutual support network that encourages pride, respect,
and trust among all members in the organization, Lambda Union will maintain
absolute confidentiality on the basis of a member's sexual orientation.
No Label Policy
In order to create a safe and supportive environment for new members,
and members who are questioning their sexual orientation, Lambda Union
will discourage all members from assigning labels to their fellow members,
or encouraging others to assign themselves a label. The use of self-assigned
labels will be supported and accepted.
No Outing Policy
In order to create a mutual support network that encourages pride, respect,
and trust among all members in the organization, Lambda Union will not
tolerate "outing" of other members.
